Our Approach to Sustainability
Ongoing Project
The 28-Month cycle Piggery Project – Building Livelihoods through Circular Agriculture
At Romic Care Foundation (ROCAF), sustainability means empowering communities with income-generating projects that also support environmental protection. One such initiative is our 28-Month Cycle Piggery Project, which is helping us move steadily toward our mission of creating lasting impact through economic empowerment
Project Overview
The project is designed to run in a 28-month cycle, focusing on breeding, weaning, fattening, and sales of pigs. Despite starting on a smaller scale than planned, the project is now active and growing.
We Aim to:
- Produce high-quality pork (90–120kg pigs in 8 months)
- Maintain animal health through proper welfare, feeding, and hygiene
- Ensure consistent income through planned breeding and sales cycles
